1 Apply for Admission

I am a K-12 Home School or K12 Non-Home School Student– You are currently enrolled in a K-12 program and have not received a high school diploma, California proficiency, or GED AND are under the age of 18.

If you are a K-12/Home School student, you may be eligible to enroll at AVC.

To be eligible:

  • You must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 to take academic courses and 2.0 to take vocational courses.
  • The course you want to take is not available at your school.
  • You may not take credit courses not applicable to the Degree and Certificate programs.
  • The course is not being repeated due to an unsatisfactory grade.
  • The course is for advanced study and you are able to demonstrate adequate preparation AND have completed prerequisites for the course.

To apply you must complete the Special Admit Packet for K-12 Non-Home School or the Special Admit Packet for K-12 Home School and contact Admissions and Records at (661) 722-6332 or (661) 722-6504.

NOTE: There may be some limitations on enrollment due to state mandates. Check with Admissions and Records for further information.
