I am a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces– You are a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and want to enroll in AVC.
New students should contact the AVC Veteran's Office prior to the term they plan to attend to initiate required paperwork at (661) 722-6342.
The Veteran's' Office, located in the Counseling Center in the Student Services building, expedites the processing of Veterans Administration (VA) GI Bill Educational Benefit paperwork and coordinates with other campus services.
Continuing students also should check in at the Veteran’s Office between the time of registering for classes and before attending those classes to complete any paperwork that might be required for continuous VA payment.
In addition, all recipients should notify the Veteran’s Office of any changes in their enrollment occurring during the term. The VA pays for the completion of coursework during the term. Adding and/or dropping of courses during the term will impact benefits and could cause the recipient to owe money to the U.S. government.
All material submitted to the Veterans Administration (VA) takes approximately two months for processing through the regional processing center in Muskogee, OK.
You may apply directly for admission as a New Student.
