Aeronautical & Aviation Technology
A Federal Aviation Administration certified airframe and power plant (A&P) technician program is at the heart of the aeronautical and aviation technology program at AVC. Men and women who complete our intensive program are prepared for taking the FAA’s licensing exam for maintaining and repairing aircraft.
Certificates of achievement are available in general aircraft maintenance, aircraft airframe, and aircraft power plant. An associate degree is also available.
People interested in a career as an air traffic controller may take course work through AVC in cooperation with Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Other course work is required beyond AVC and certain FAA requirements apply.
