Automotive Technology
Our automotive technology program was the first in California to be certified by the Automotive Repair Coalition (ARC), meeting industry standards for instruction in automotive skills.
Whether you want to learn some basics to work on your own car or make a career as a technician, the college offers a wide range of courses. Courses include an overview of automotive systems, along with specialized courses in engines, chassis, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel systems and more.
Also, existing technicians can upgrade their skills in such things as emission control, air conditioning and other areas.
