Campus Construction Projects: Theatre Arts Facility

Dance, music, theatrical performances and many other exciting events are planned for the new 400-seat Theatre Arts Facility. Currently in design, the 32,126-square foot theater is expected to open its doors in Spring 2010. Placed along Avenue K, this new facility will provide numerous new opportunities for instruction and performances in the areas of theater arts, music and dance. The new theater is certain to become another valuable and unique resource for the Antelope Valley community. The Theatre Arts Facility will include space for set design and construction, costume design and construction, a Green Room, a 2,701-square-foot main stage, two side stages, faculty offices, changing rooms and storage areas. This project is a state funded project requiring local matching funds.
