Campus Construction
Replace & Upgrade Campus Infrastructure

Nearly 50 years of use and growth has stretched the campus infrastructure to its limits. The many systems required to support a campus will be repaired, replaced and expanded to allow for current and future projects to be completed. Upon completing the infrastructure project future buildings can be constructed without major infrastructure costs for at least the next 50 years.

Infrastructure systems being upgraded campus wide include natural gas distribution, 12Kv electrical distribution, fire system water supply, domestic water distribution, irrigation water distribution, voice and data network distribution, fire and security systems, chilled water distribution, sewer lines and storm drains.

After excavating the site, the trench is prepared to lay the conduit. Pipes, fittings and support brackets are installed to ensure the line's integrity for many years. The cables that run through this conduit are protected from sun, heat, rain, snow and corrosion.
