Resource Development
Development at educational institutions
encompasses a sophisticated and comprehensive program
of annual giving, campaigns, major gifts and planned giving.
While alumni annual giving and remains the cornerstone
of the development function, other sources of funding
include corporations, foundations, trustees, faculty and
staff, parents and current students.
All donations/gifts to AVC must
be given through the AVC Foundation, the non-profit 501
(c) 3 established to legally accept tax-deductible contributions
in support of the college.
