Duck Race

Ducks

Duck Season is open in the 9th Annual Antelope Valley Rubber Duck Race at the City of Palmdale's DryTown Water Park. Proceeds support more than 80 local nonprofits and youth programs, of which the AVC Foundation is included. Join us this year on Friday, August 29th, 2014 for a fun night supporting AVC students and the chance to win $1 Million. Gates open and activities start at 6 p.m. The big race begins at 8 p.m.

HOW DO I ENTER?

Support the organization of your choice and "adopt" ducks by visiting duckrace.com/antelopevalley:

  1. Click on the "Teams" tab
  2. Select the AVC Foundation
  3. Simply complete your contribution information!

HOW DO I WIN THE MILLION DOLLAR DUCK?

For every 3,333 ducks in the race, one duck is tagged with a million-dollar number. The AV Rubber duck Race typically has at least 4 ducks in the million-dollar running. If one of the specially tagged ducks enters the finish line first, that duck's adopter wins the $1 Million. Winners need not be present.

HOW DO I GET TICKETS TO THE RACE?

Everyone is encouraged to attend this family-friendly event at DryTown Water Park. Duck adoptions do not include entry into the park. DryTown's snack bar with full menu also will be open during the event. Outside food and drinks are not permitted. Park tickets can be purchased at the door. We hope to see you there!
