LVN class to get nursing pins

College President Dr. Jackie L. Fisher Sr. joins LVN students in applauding those who supported them through the vocational nursing program.

Graduates of Antelope Valley College’s Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) Program were presented nursing pins during a 3 p.m. ceremony August 8 at The Highlands in Palmdale.

The class of 39 men and women graduates is one of the largest LVN classes in recent years. Last year 28 graduated. Another 127 students have graduated from the college’s registered Nursing Program in the past eight months.

Students completing the year-long program will now go on to take a
national licensing exam to become licensed vocational nurses.
