Living trust seminar this Friday

People can learn the tax and legal benefits of a living trust through a seminar “The Living Trust” at 10 a.m. this Friday in Business Education Building room BE 246 at Antelope Valley College, 3041 W. Ave. K, Lancaster.

James Charlton will discuss ways to avoid the expense, aggravation and time of a probate, as well as the importance of durable powers of attorney. Also, Charlton will present information on the financial pitfall of joint tenancy and how a living trust might save thousands of dollars of inheritance tax.

The seminar is offered through Antelope Valley College’s Corporate and Community Services Office. Cost is $20.
