Campus parking enforcement clarified

Students wanting to park on campus will need to obtain permits from the Cashier’s Office by Friday, Sept. 3 to avoid being cited.

The campus Sheriff’s Office will not cite vehicles without parking permits until after the Labor Day holiday, Tuesday, Sept. 7. Students can park in any non-staff or non-handicapped parking space until then, sheriff’s department officials said.

However, vehicles will be cited for parking in red zones and other routine parking violations.
