Class provides information on citizenship

Immigrants interested in becoming United States citizens can enroll in a two-hour workshop offered through Antelope Valley College’s Corporate and Community Services Office.

The class will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, March 11 in the Board Room, SSV 151, at the college, 3041 W. Ave. K, Lancaster. Cost is $20.

People will learn about becoming a documented resident, U.S. citizenship, helping family members immigrate, and achieving one’s goals through migration.

Marv Wilk, executive director of the Greater Valley Immigration, Citizenship and Education Services in Palmdale, will teach the course. More information on Greater Valley Immigration, Citizenship and Education Services is available by calling (661) 272-1424.
