Loan signing specialist training at AVC

The California real estate industry is in need of notaries to become loan document signing specialists – a skill that will be covered in a workshop for those trained to be notary publics 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17 through Antelope Valley College’s Corporate and Community Services Office.

Instructor Betty Bosley will discuss the duties and responsibilities of the notary public as a loan signing specialist. Students will be provided with information that should improve their performance and increase their confidence in the industry.

At the conclusion of the workshop, students will be eligible to take a certification exam to receive certificate of completion for the course. Thos taking the workshop must have completed a notary public workshop class.

The “Loan Signing Specialist” workshop fee is $70, plus a $45 material fee payable at the class. The fee for the loan signing exam is $40.
