Valley’s largest job fair to be held April 27

The valley’s largest job fair will bring together job seekers and employers from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 as Antelope Valley College hosts its 16th Semi-Annual Spring Career Information and Job Fair at the Fine Arts Quad, 3041 W. Ave. K, Lancaster.

The Fine Arts Quad is located on the west side of the campus.

More than 40 employers are expected at this year’s event, which typically attracts more than 1,000 job seekers. The college’s Job Placement Center, Jewish Vocational Services and South Valley WorkSource Center sponsor the event.

Employers scheduled to take part include Academy of Style, NASA-Dryden Flight Research Center, Antelope Valley Regional Occupation Program, Arcata Associates, Assistant League Preschool, Donaldson Company, AV Notary Network, Army National Guard, First City Credit Union, CalVet-EDD, Career Care Institute, California State University, Bakersfield-Antelope Valley, DeVry University, Edwards Air Force Base, Employment Development Department/WorkSource Antelope Valley, FBI, First City Credit Union, Goodwill of Southern California, I A P Worldwide Services, Fort Irwin, Job Corps,  Jewish Vocational Services, SONIC Drive-In, L.A. Hughes & Associates,  Los Angeles County Register Recorder, Los Angeles Police Department, Learn 4 Life, Life Source International, Mary Kay, Navy,  Pre-paid Legal, Primerica, Shaklee, Sierra Madre Learning Center, T.O.T.A.L. Programs, Social Security Administration, South Valley WorkSource Center, U.S. Forest Service, Army, Marine Corps, VITAS, Western Beauty Institute, World Financial Group.
