AVC to host university and college representatives

Students wanting to continue their education at a college, university or technical school will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from 30 public and private institutions when Antelope Valley College hosts its annual Transfer Fair 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 13.

The event will be held outdoors in the Library plaza of the Lancaster campus, 3041 W. Ave. K.

Transfer Day is open to anyone interested in learning about educational opportunities.

Representatives are expected from the University of California campuses at Berkeley, Davis, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz.

California State University campuses represented will include Bakersfield, Channel Islands, Dominguez Hills, Humboldt, Northridge, Pomona, Sacramento and San Bernardino.

Other schools expected to send representatives are Academy of Art University,

Azusa Pacific University, Brandman University, Binghamton University, California Institute of Integral Studies, California Lutheran University, DeVry University, Fresno Pacific University, La Sierra University, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Musician’s Institute, National University, San Diego Christian College, Vanguard University of Southern California and Western New Mexico University.
