AVC to host university and college representatives

Students wanting to continue their education at a college, university or technical school will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 30 public and private institutions when Antelope Valley College hosts its annual Transfer Fair 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12.

The event will be held outdoors in the Library Plaza of the Lancaster campus, 3041 W. Ave. K.

Transfer Day is open to anyone interested in learning about educational opportunities.

Representatives are expected from the University of California campuses at Berkeley, Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Barbara.

California State University campuses represented will include Bakersfield, Channel Islands, Humboldt, Northridge and Pomona.

Other schools expected to send representatives are Bellvue University,

Brandman University, California Baptist University, Columbia College, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Hope International University, La Sierra University, Mount St. Mary’s College, Musician’s Institute, National University, National University Golf Academy, Point Loma Nazarene University, San Francisco Art Institute, Santa Fe University of Art and Design, Southern California University of Health Sciences, University of La Verne, University of Phoenix, Vanguard University of Southern California and Woodbury University.
