More classes added to AVC schedule

Seven more high-demand courses have been added to Antelope Valley College’s fall semester schedule.

The “late start” classes begin the week of Oct. 14. They include:

  • One section of MATH 102, Intermediate Algebra, will meet on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.
  • Two sections of “U.S. History, 1607-1877,” History 107. One class will meet 3:45 to 6:55 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday, beginning Oct. 15, and the other will meet 12:30 to 1:55 p.m. each Monday through Thursday, beginning Oct. 14.
  • “U.S. History, 1877-Present,” History 108, will meet 3:45 to 6:55 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, beginning Oct. 15.
  • “Ethics: Moral Issues in Society,” Philosophy 105, will meet 8 to 9:25 a.m. Monday through Thursday, beginning Oct. 14.
  • “American Political Institutions,” Political Science 101, will meet 3:45 to 6:55 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, beginning Oct. 15.
  • “General Psychology,” Psychology 101, will meet 8 to 9:25 a.m., Monday through Thursday, beginning Oct. 14.
  • “Introduction to Sociology,” Sociology 101, will meet 11 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. Friday and Saturday, beginning Oct. 18.
