Dean presented award
Dr. Les Uhazy was presented the Distinguished Service Award by the Wildlife Disease Association during its August conference in Estes Park, Colorado.
The award is the highest honor given by the association. Uhazy, dean of the Math, Science and Engineering Division, served as assistant editor of the Journal of Wildlife Diseases for 16 years and treasurer of the Wildlife Disease
Association for six years. He has belonged to the group approximately 35 years.
Dr. Margo Pybus, a former colleague who credited Uhazy with her involvement in the association, presented Uhazy the award.
