Interim Chancellor Appointed
Dr. Diane Woodruff has been appointed interim chancellor for
California’s Community Colleges while officials begin a nationwide search for a successor to Dr. Marshall “Mark” Drummond.
Drummond announced his resignation recently in order to return to his former post as chancellor of the Los Angeles Community College District.
Woodruff will begin her new duties Aug. 1. She currently works as interim president of the Community College League of California, where she also served as a vice president. Prior to that she was president of Napa Valley College.
