Tropical Biology's Rainforest Trip
Argentina’s rainforest and the hidden valleys of the Andes will be the destination for AVC’s Tropica lBiology, Biology 170, class this summer.
Zoology Professor Dr. Callyn Yorke will lead up to 15 students on a trip through northwestern Argentina, which is home to an extensive array of wildlife including jaguars, Andean condors and red-legged seriemas.
A new date has been set for the trip: June 26-July 17, 2008. Yorke has led other tropical biology classes to Costa Rica, Ecuador, Australia and East Africa.
