The ASO sticker is an additional feature of your AVC ID card which can be purchased for $10 for the Fall and Spring semesters and $5 for the Summer and Intercession semesters in the Student Development and College Activities office located in the Student Services building (SSV) room 180. There is a $5 savings when purchased are a combo with the parking permit at the Cashier's Office for the Fall and Spring semesters only. It can provide you with such benefits such as:
- Free admission to all on campus athletic events (excluding pre-season, playoffs, and tournaments)
- Free general tutoring in the Learning Center
- 10% off trade books in the Marauder Bookstore
- Discount or free admission to ASO sponsored activities and events
- Discount tickets to Southern California theme parks such as Knotts Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Sea World, and Universal Studios
- Discount at local community businesses (as of June 27, 2008) such as Adorable Baby's Jump Start, American Post N' Parcel, American Tire Depot, Anytime Fitness, Auto Pro's, AV Tax Associates, Catfish Gumbo, Denny's on Avenue K, EDWIN, Fabulous Feet Dancewear, Jackie's Cafe, Jalapeno Grill, Jewels of Joy Childcare, Jon Dave Hair Salon, K Swiss Outlet, Leaky Garage Productions, Mary Kay Consultants (Julie Watanabe and Megan Owens), Medusa Salon & Spa (Cathy Terrell Manicurist), Monticello Salon & Spa (Misty Contreras Stylist), Organic Method Studio, Pat Ray's Sugar Sweet, Primo Cafe, Purple Martini, Schooner's, SMARK Apparel, Superior Electronics, and Tire Xpress. Refund Policy
The ASO sticker fee will be refunded in full to those students who totally withdraw within the first two weeks of instruction. Request for a refund must be in writing and be accompanied by the sticker and receipt.
