The Antelope Valley College
Child Development Center (CDC) is an on-campus laboratory
state preschool which provides developmental programs
for children three months to five years of age. The
CDC is licensed by the State of California. The purposes
of the CDC are to:
Provide a comprehensive
program of services for children three months to five
years of age.
Serve as a model
center for the education and care of young children.
Demonstrate
family-centered early childhood education practices
through home/school collaboration and parent education.
Serve as a professional development site for Early
Childhood Education Certificate preparation.
The CDC is open Monday
through Friday, with morning and/or afternoon sessions.
Enrollment is open to students, faculty, staff, and the
community. Application forms are available at the Child
Development Center.
