LAPD Annual Salary
$52,639 – $70,679*
*Candidates with 60 college credits and 2.0+ GPA start at $54,747.
Minimum Requirements
- 20 1/2 years of age (18 if applying for Reserves)
- No maximum age limit
- U.S. high school diploma
- GED or CHSPE
- U.S. citizen or have applied for citizenship
- Background suitable for employment in law enforcement
