ESL Study Center: Tutorial Appointments

If you are enrolled in an ESL or Basic Skills class (e.g. ENGL 095, 097, 099) you can sign up for tutorial appointments at any time without restrictions.

For all other courses you need a current ASO (Associated Student Organization) sticker for your campus I.D. card or a referral from EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services), STAR or OSD to make a tutoring appointment.

You can do so by visiting the Writing Center desk during our Desk Hours or by contacting us.

Appointments must be made at least one day in advance, and may be made up to one week in advance. To allow as many students as possible to work with our tutors, standing appointments are unavailable. Please contact us if you are unable to keep a tutoring appointment. Students who fail to do so may lose their appointment privileges.
