General Tutoring: Appointments

Students are limited to a maximum of three hours of tutoring each week. They are limited to two hours in one subject and an additional hour in a second subject. The three-hour limit does not include services that are provided in other programs in the Learning Center.

An ASO sticker or EOPS card is required to obtain an appointment. Please verify tutor availability for a subject before you purchase a card.

All the tutors have been recommended by college instructors and have been fully trained.

Appointments are usually not filled on the same day the appointment is requested. Due to workload, please expect to wait at least one week before meeting with your tutor. Students must have proof of ASO or EOPS 24 hours before they meet with a tutor. Tutoring is a proactive service- if you feel you will need the assistance, do not hesitate to request a tutor.
