Library Tutorials

The AVC Library has developed a Web-based library instruction program that features four different tutorials.  These self-paced tutorials are structured in a way that allows students to become more active participants in the learning process.   The tutorials are designed to complement the term paper clinics, but can also be used as stand alone assignments.

Any or all of the tutorials may be assigned by the instructor as a class assignment.  Each tutorial has an accompanying quiz that can be completed as the student proceeds through the tutorial.  These quizzes are submitted electronically.  Results are e-mailed to the student and should be presented to the instructor for proper credit. 

Student Learning Outcomes have been completed and approved for each of these tutorials.
