Student Clubs & Organizations: AVC Gamers
The purpose of the Antelope Valley College Gamer's Club is to promote student interaction and comradeship, through the various aspects of recreational games (role playing games, board games, miniature games, collectible card games, etc.). Through this interaction, our goals are to also improve student knowledge in the areas of history, mythology, mathematics, science, and literature. Including the literary genres of fantasy and science fiction. We also hope to inspire creativity, promote social skills and develop leadership skills amongst our membership.
Membership open to all AVC students, staff, and faculty. OFFICER ELECTIONS will be held during the Spring Semester for the following year.
Club meetings will be held regularly during the Spring Semester, check back at this page or contact our Point of Contact for dates and times.
Though not officially part of the club's "Area of Interest", AVC Gamers is also very active with Japanese Anime and Manga.
