Student Development & College Activities Office

The American Sign Language Club at Antelope Valley College

The mission of ASL@AVC  is to show and share American Sign Language with all people regardless of their background in ASL.

Our goal is to promote Deaf Culture through the use of American Sign Language on campus, in the Antelope Valley and beyond. ASL@AVC  provides opportunities for Deaf and hearing communities to interact. The club literally takes a hands-on approach to learning, offering such fun events as ASL-only Silent Game Nights.  The club also engages in service projects that benefit Deaf people.  Part of our fundraising efforts will provide scholarships for Deaf Studies American Sign Language and Interpreter Training students.

EVERYONE is invited to join ASL Club, regardless of your signing capabilities!
