Wine Walk Results
Last Saturday, the 2nd Annual Wine Walk fundraiser provided guests with an evening filled with enjoyable wine tastings, live music, delicious food, silent auctions, tours, and great company. Feedback has been very positive.
Not only was the event an enjoyable experience, but it was a tremendous success. The event raised over $30,000 which will go directly into the Antelope Valley Community Students’ Endowment. This endowment supports programs dedicated to student success through a grant process. (Click here to learn how Endowments provide self-sustaining funds to the college.)
We would like to express our appreciation:
- Alan, Jose, Nick, and Josue from campus events were organized and efficient in making sure we had everything we needed.
- Professor Stephen Langjahr provided guests with a demonstration of the new virtual anatomy table, and Professor Mark McGovern showed a demonstration in the virtual science lab.
- Still Waters Catering provided delicious food.
- Kenny Herrera with Hit Machine provided live entertainment.
