Submitted by webmaster on Wed, 09/14/2022 - 10:53

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central, and South America. We invite you to join us for our "Hispanic Heritage Month Events" all month long including our annual Hispanic Heritage Festival on Wednesday, October 12 from 11am-1pm in the Library Plaza. Students will receive a passport and have the opportunity to visit the table displays. Once their "passport" is stamped they will receive a Latin-inspired lunch. We will commemorate the month with a music event titled, "Para la Gente" on Saturday, October 15 from 11am-3pm in the Fine Arts Quad. We look forward to seeing you there!
