Hey Marauders,
It’s your new favorite Antelope Valley weather forecaster again! It looks like we’re getting some on-and-off winds, rain, and snow, so I just want to remind all of you to please play it safe as you travel to and from campus.
For those of you who live outside of the AV or in the mountain communities, please use your best judgment as you evaluate road conditions. If you need to leave work or class early because of possible road closures, please work with your supervisor or instructor to plan accordingly.
Faculty, if your students are unable to make it to class, please work with them and provide some alternate ways of making up assignments. If you yourself are unable to make it to campus to teach your class, please work with your dean to make accommodations and make sure to communicate with your students directly.
At this time, our campus remains open and operational so let’s continue to collaborate and be kind to one another as we strive to consistently serve our students.
Thank you for your attention.
Serve Students.
Be Kind.
