Antelope Valley College celebrated a monumental 2023 Commencement on Friday, May 5 at the Brent Carder Marauder Stadium. Superintendent/President Jennifer Zellet, PhD congratulated the 718 students who walked the stage, and the 1,707 students receiving a record 3,509 degrees and certificates. More than 630 students are receiving Associate of Arts degrees, 285 are earning an Associate of Science degree, 661 students are graduating with Honors, 320 students are receiving an Associate of Arts for Transfer, 194 students are receiving an Associate of Science for Transfer, and 1,248 students are earning Certificates of Achievement, marking a proud moment for graduates, their families and AVC. The event was filled with cheers and tears as students were recognized for their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to the Antelope Valley College Class of 2023!
