Antelope Valley College is introducing mandatory Title IX Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Bystander Intervention training for all new incoming students for Fall 2024.

This initiative aims to provide students with essential knowledge on preventing and intervening in incidents of sexual misconduct, reporting procedures, and the resources available on campus.

The training will be held in the Performing Arts Theatre on Monday, August 26, with three sessions scheduled at 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 3:30 p.m. Students are not required to register in advance but must bring their student IDs to the session.

For those unable to attend in person, an alternative assignment will be provided to ensure all new students complete the required training. Full participation in the session is necessary to receive credit for the training.
