AVC Child Development Center Accepting Applications for Preschool Program
Child Development Center (CDC) Building

Antelope Valley College is now accepting applications for its California State Preschool Program at the Child Development Center (CDC), located on the Lancaster campus.

The CDC is a licensed California State Preschool serving children ages 2.5 to 5 years old. Free childcare is provided to eligible families based on income and family size qualifications. The CDC also offers a tuition-based half-day and full-day program to support the diverse needs of student parents, faculty, staff, and community members.

The Child Development Center provides high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing environment that values diversity, equity and inclusion. In addition to serving families, the center functions as a laboratory school for AVC students enrolled in programs such as Child and Family Education, Nursing and Licensed Vocational Nursing.

Student parents interested in enrolling their children are encouraged to apply now as spaces are limited.

Families may learn more or begin the application process by visiting the CDC webpage, stopping by the center, calling 661-722-6500 or emailing angelica.alvarez@avc.edu.
