Learning Center Hosts Trivia Nights Blending Study Skills, Competition
April 13th, 2026 | 04:30 pm - 07:00 pm

Antelope Valley College students are invited to test their knowledge and sharpen their study skills at the Learning Center’s upcoming Trivia Slam events in Sage Hall.

Each event begins with a 30-minute study skills workshop focused on memory-based testing strategies, followed by a team trivia competition with prizes awarded to top performers. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

The series features two themed events: a music-themed trivia night on April 13 and an Asian American and Pacific Islander-themed event on May 11. Students can compete in teams of up to four.

Designed to combine stress relief with academic support, the event offers a fun, low-pressure way to build effective study habits while connecting with peers.

Space is limited to 10 teams per event. No tickets are required. Students can sign up in the Learning Center in Sage Hall.
