Antelope Valley College will showcase the work of its photography students in an upcoming exhibition, “How Long, How Much, How Sensitive,” opening Wednesday, April 29.
The exhibition, organized by the AVC Photography Department, will debut with a public reception from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Theater (PAT) Lobby.
The exhibit will remain on display through the end of May.
Featuring a collection of student-created images, the showing highlights both the technical skill and creative vision developed within AVC’s photography program. Inspired by the exposure triangle, shutter speed, aperture and ISO, the title reflects the fundamental elements of photography while inviting viewers to experience how students interpret light, timing and sensitivity through their work.
The campus community and the public are encouraged to attend the free opening reception or explore the exhibition throughout May while attending events at the Performing Arts Theater.
This showcase offers a unique opportunity to support emerging artists and see firsthand the creative talent being cultivated at AVC.
When: Wednesday, April 29, 4–7 p.m. (Opening Reception)
