Antelope Valley College will host the 2026 AVC Palmdale Center Block Party on Thursday, May 7, bringing together students, families, employees, community partners and local organizations for an afternoon of entertainment, engagement and valuable resources. 

Held at the AVC Palmdale Center parking lot, the annual family-friendly event will feature a College Information Night, giving students and community members the opportunity to learn about AVC programs and apply to the college on site. 

The event will include live music from a DJ and featured band Test Flight, food trucks, and interactive games and activities for all ages. Community organizations and businesses will also be on site sharing resources and networking opportunities. 

The Palmdale Block Party celebrates more than two decades of service at the AVC Palmdale Center and highlights the college’s ongoing commitment to the Palmdale community. Last year’s event welcomed more than 800 attendees and continues to grow as a signature community celebration. 

Admission is free and no RSVP is required.
