Antelope Valley College will host the 2026 AVC Palmdale Center Block Party on Thursday, May 7, bringing together students, families, employees, community partners and local organizations for an afternoon of entertainment, engagement and valuable resources.
Held at the AVC Palmdale Center parking lot, the annual family-friendly event will feature a College Information Night, giving students and community members the opportunity to learn about AVC programs and apply to the college on site.
This event will feature live music by AVC’s Pop Music Ensemble, Test Flight, along with DJ, Luis Abad, an AVC alumnus. Guests will have the opportunity to complete event passports and receive complimentary food tickets. ASO-sponsored School Night Bites will also be available, offering a variety of food items for purchase. There will be interactive games and activities for all to enjoy. Community organizations and businesses will also be on site sharing resources and networking opportunities.
The Palmdale Block Party celebrates more than two decades of service at the AVC Palmdale Center and highlights the college’s ongoing commitment to the Palmdale community. Last year's event welcomed more than 800 attendees and continues to grow as a signature community celebration.
