"I've been painting since I was a teenager. My paintings have changed in look over time, but I think most of the same ideas are still going. I like the interaction of human beings and nature and how we affect each other. I am a strong advocate for open natural space in our environment, yet am keenly aware of the need for housing and enterprise. We as people need to find a healthy balance. This forms the basis for my environmental surrealism in art." - Paul Urban.
