Books HELP 2026 Intersession and Spring applications are now open.
Books HELP hours at the Lancaster Campus are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Friday from 8–11 a.m. Hours at the Palmdale Center are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Friday, 8–11 a.m.
Books HELP allows eligible Antelope Valley College students to borrow textbooks, calculators and access codes free of charge until the agreed return date. Students are served on a first-come, first-served basis according to need and Books HELP equity ranking criteria. Students must apply each semester.
Locations: Library at the Lancaster Campus and Palmdale Center.
