The Student Health Service Fee provides AVC students with access to physical, mental, dental, and health education services. The fee is $21 per Fall and Spring semester and $19 per Intersession and Summer session. This mandatory fee must be paid by the deadline, or all registered classes will be dropped.

The fee covers over-the-counter medications, menstrual products, condoms, take-home COVID tests, fentanyl test strips, pregnancy tests, and minor first aid. (Note: This is not health insurance. Vouchers are one-time use per semester.)

Students who solely rely on prayer for healing may request a Student Health Fee Waiver through the Student Health and Wellness Office. Waivers are reviewed by the Dean of Health and Wellness, and students will be notified by email within 72 hours whether their request is approved or denied. The Cashier’s Office will also be informed, and fees will be assessed or removed accordingly.

Waiver requests must be submitted at least 72 hours before the payment deadline and before the semester start date to allow processing time. Students may submit the form before their registration date.
