Hip-hop band The Neighborhood Kids kick off EmbraceAVC Week with a high-energy live performance, followed by a screening of “Somos,” a powerful short film chronicling a young boy’s experience in an ICE detention center in Texas. AVC Learning Center tutors will also be on site to provide academic support.
