This compelling exhibition presents a rich retrospective of Paul Urban’s artwork, spanning from the 1980s to today. The collection reflects his deep engagement with the natural world and modern design, offering a visual narrative shaped by decades of observing—and interpreting—the evolving relationship between humanity and the landscape.
“I've been painting since I was a teenager. My paintings have changed in look over time, but I think most of the same ideas are still going. I like the interaction of human beings and nature and how we affect each other. I am a strong advocate for open natural space in our environment, yet am keenly aware of the need for housing and enterprise. We as people need to find a healthy balance. This forms the basis for my environmental surrealism in art.” – Paul Urban.
