Antelope Valley College will host a series of information sessions this spring for those interested in the Airframe Manufacturing Technology (AFMT) bachelor’s degree program. The sessions are open to current students and the general public who want to learn more about program requirements, the application process, and career pathways in aerospace and aircraft manufacturing.
The AFMT program prepares students to become multi-skilled professionals capable of taking on leadership roles in the manufacturing of structural components for civilian and military aircraft. Attendees will receive an overview of the curriculum, cohort model structure, and options for completing the degree in two years after earning an applicable associate degree.
