Students planning to transfer to a four-year university can get focused guidance and practical support through Transfer Thursdays, a monthly workshop series hosted by the Transfer Center at Antelope Valley College.
Transfer Thursdays give students a concentrated overview of key transfer topics in one accessible session each month. Workshops cover transfer pathways, financial considerations, local university options, University of California transfer opportunities, UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) requirements and personal insight questions. The goal is to help students feel informed, confident, and prepared as they plan their next academic steps.
Each session focuses on a specific theme and allows students to ask questions, connect with resources and gain clarity on the transfer process. Whether students are early in their planning or preparing to submit applications, Transfer Thursdays offer timely and relevant information to support their goals.
