Antelope Valley College invites students, staff and community members to attend an upcoming environmental talk focused on one of the most urgent global issues: food.
Joshua Shipp, a Professor of Biology at AVC, will present the next installment in his environmental talk series, The End of the World. Earlier discussions in the series focused on water and energy. This presentation will explore the environmental impacts of food production, including hunting, fishing and industrial agriculture.
Attendees will learn about sustainability concerns tied to modern food systems and the long-term challenges facing ecosystems and human society.
