Antelope Valley College students can freshen up their look for spring during a free haircut event on Monday, March 9. 

Professional stylists from American Beauty College will provide complimentary haircuts to currently enrolled AVC students from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in front of Mesquite Hall. The event is walk-up only and available while time permits. 

Students must present a valid AVC student ID to participate. Organizers say the event is designed to help students step into the semester with renewed confidence and style. 

The service is offered at no cost to students.
