Antelope Valley College's Facilities Service Plan is an important strategic document for supporting the District's Educational Service Plan.  The term "master," which was used in the 2016 plan was replaced with the term "service." This service-focused framework reflects our commitment to students and the community, with SERVES standing for Service, Equity, Resources, Vision, Education, and Success. The Facilities Service Plan document was developed with the participation of several college constituency groups to define the physical resources required to support all programs, services, and functions of the district. Data from the Educational Service Plan was utilized to develop plans for successfully supporting the District's future growth. The Facilities Service Plan includes all sites, assesses infrastructure requirements, defines building and landscape architectural guidelines, and provides a building program to meet evolving program needs. The Facilities Service Plan is also a mandatory document which serves as evidence to the California Community College Chancellors Office, accreditation team, and other state agencies that the district has a current strategic planning document for supporting the physical resource needs of the district.
