Writing Workshop with Yosimar Reyes
Join us for our next Equity Speaker Series event featuring Poet Laureate, writer, and performer, Yosimar Reyes. In this interactive workshop, students will explore anecdotes and personal narratives to craft compelling story arcs. The focus is on resilience and the concept of cultural wealth—recognizing the strengths and knowledge we carry as part of our lived experiences. Participants will generate new writing and practice their public speaking skills by sharing their work aloud in a supportive environment.

Prieto Stage Reading with Yosimar Reyes
Join Equity & Student Achievement for our next Equity Speaker Series featuring Yosimar Reyes, Poet Laureate and activist. Yosimar will perform a staged reading from his nationally touring solo show, Prieto—a coming-of-age story about migration, queerness, and identity told with humor and heart.
