CalWORKs Orientation – Fall 2025
All CalWORKs students are required to attend one CalWORKs Orientation each semester. This mandatory session provides an overview of the CalWORKs program, ensuring that students are fully informed about how to successfully utilize its support services to enhance their educational experience at Antelope Valley College.
During the Orientation, students will learn about:
- Program requirements and expectations
- Available academic and personal support services
- How to access resources such as tutoring, counseling, and financial aid
- Strategies for balancing school, work, and family responsibilities

- Please check in at the CalWORKs front counter for all in-person orientations, located on the 2nd floor of the Student Services Building.
- Be on time for all sessions. Late attendance will not be permitted.
